UA3 Art Club member Lorna Pirrie’s drawing ‘American Dream’ c.9/25, pencil on paper, 35 x 33cm has been selected as part of the Society of Scottish Artists 127th Annual Open exhibition held at the Royal Scottish Academy on Princes Street, Edinburgh. The exhibit will run from Sunday January 11th through February 4th. Lorna has also submitted ‘American Dream’ for consideration in the Derwent Art Prize in London with high hopes of acceptance having been a finalist in the Inaugural Derwent Art Prize in 2013 with her drawing ‘Isolation in Edinburgh’ c.2012 that can be seen on her website; www.linearprior.com
